Web Bulb Temperature Calculator

The calculator on this page provides a means of calculating:-

  • The wet bulb temperature for a specific dry bulb temperature and %RH.
  • The likely temperature depression if using evaporative cooling for a known cooling efficiency
  • The cooled temperature ^{\circ}C.

It can be seen from the calculator above that as the %RH increases the dew point temperature moves closer to the ambient temperature.  At 100%RH the dew point temperature is the same as the ambient temperature.  It can be seen that for low %RH environments significant temperature depresseion can be realised.
